September at the RSL Hall in Murrurundi

Saturday, September 4th - 9.30 AM

The second Landscape design and Environmental art workshop with Barbara Schaffer, principal landscape architect for the NSW Government and Jennifer Turpin, a renowned environmental artist. A presentation of the design for a new River Walk along the Pages River in Murrurundi based on suggestions that were brought forth in the first workshop, and a presentation by Jenny Turpin of a concept for a major kinetic water-wind sculpture in the centre of Murrurundi.

The workshop begins at 9.30 at the RSL Murrurundi and is open to all.

Friday, September 24th - 10 AM


To coincide with the United Nation World River Day on September 26th, TTP will celebrate its own Pages River on the last Friday of schools' term. The program which will begin at 10am at the RSL in Murrurundi will include - address by the Shire Mayor Cr. Lee Watts, Art and Science presentations by primary school children, presentations of the design for the River Walk and a concept for a major sculpture, announcement of the winner of Page Turner (short story competition) and tree planting.
